Not the typical Saturday.

Today is not a typical Saturday.

I do plan on getting on my bike soon and riding for a while but aside from that today will not be typical. It won't be typical but that is a good thing. Last night my Son asked if he could hang out with me and his sister. He hasn't done that in nearly a year.

I've wondered long and hard about his reasons for not wanting to be with us more often but it's hard to do so. My only guess is he was bothered by a relationship I had with a woman or he simply wanted to be in his own bed every night or maybe it was both.

I may never know the answer for his actions. At this point I really don't care any longer. I'm just happy that he has come back into our lives.
