Nursing school

A couple of Days ago I took the 2nd exam of my last semester of Nursing School. It was probably the most difficult exam I've taken in the last two years. Over 20 of the questions were on Cardiac Rhythm strip recognition followed by questions on what would be the expected treatment for each. I had feared this section from day we had the lecture on advanced cardiac dysrhythmias. I felt that if there was a weakness within my Nursing it was rhythm recognition.

My fears about the test were over valued. I studied my rear end off not only on the EKG strips but the other aspects of the exam which including Kidney Failure, Hepatitis and Community Health. I felt that if I stumbled on the EKG section I may be able to make up for it by knowing the other information like the back of my had. As it turned out I knew the EKG's really well. I missed one question out of the twenty and got a B grade on the exam.

Now I'm only 2 exams and a final away from graduating in December. Each day I get a bit closer to my overall goal. I can see the light and smell the sweat smell of success right around the corner.
