Fondue Fun

I took my Girl Friend out on Sunday night. I won a gift certificate and a nice bottle of wine at one of my son's band fundraiser events and thought that sharing it with Kathy would be fun. The gift card was for a restaurant called the Melting Pot where fondue is the the food of choice.

I really thought it would be good for use to get out to a nice place that was different from the norm and where we could just chat and enjoy each others company and this place fit the bill just right.

We both had a nice salad and than fondued some steak, chicken and white shrimp. It turned out to be a fun evening and the atmosphere helped Kathy and I talk. By the time the evening was over I felt that both of us had come to the agreement that even though the past few months have been difficult for the two of us our relationship will endure. I'm really happy about that as it's pretty obvious that we are in love. So, here is to better days ahead for both of us.
