It's Sunday Morning in the Fall. That could only mean one thing really. Well, it could mean more than one thing I suppose.
But, for me it means it's cold outside, the coffee is warm and there will be a Charger game on TV today. I have been a fan since I was about 7 or 8 years old of the Chargers. I remember my dad betting my brother and I a quarter that they'd loose. We would often take the bet and back than we would often loose. Of course he never collected on the bet when we lost but would gladly pay up if they did. That was the start of watching the games pretty religiously. I think the only time when that was not really possible was when I was on active duty in the Air Force. But, even than I would find way's to watch when I could. This morning I find myself in front of the PC reading through various emails on bike related topics, setting my fantasy league teams for today and waking up with some warm coffee. My mom is in the kitchen making some waffles as I type. On a side note (I'm currently living back at my mom's rather than with Kathy as our relationship has hit a few bumps and we are taking some time apart to try and work things out. I hope it's only a temporary set back though and we manage to work things out because I do love her and miss being with her.
Anyway, back to my original post. Today is a big game for us (my mom is also a huge fan). We are playing the NY Gnats (not a typo). If we win it will show just how good the team is and may really put us close to the Denver Donkeys (not a typo) especially if they loose tot he Steelers.
I don't plan much more than that today except for some studying for an Exam this coming Wednesday. It must sound like I have a boring life. But, honestly I love days like this.
