Monday:
I didn't have to work on Monday which was nice. It allowed me to stay with Kathy in Clarksburg an extra night which is always nice. In the morning I drove to the clubs bike ride which started in Carmichael. It was a good day on the bike but the fog is always so depressing. We road to Panera Bread in Natomas. The fog was so thick it sounded like rain as we road through it. I hadn't eaten before leaving so I had a breakfast sandwich and coffee while there. It didn't help me ride any faster on the way back and I found myself off the back just putting along. It was okay though as a ride of any length is good this time of year.
Tuesday:
I ended up having to help my mom with some things in the morning that I'd rather had not have had to. Didn't make it to Mercy on Tuesday as a result. I did get the chance to get to the school book store and bought half my books and than spent the evening with Kathy watching her son's basketball practice and eating with her brother David before heading back to Clarksburg. It rained over night which was a nice change and the fog pretty much took a repreive.
Wednesday:
Arrived for the club ride in Carmichael under a blue sky. What a nice change of pace. I rode about 32 miles, changed my clothes and headed back to the campus for the remainder of my books. Later that day I met up with Kathy again in Clarksburg and ran some errands with her. Sometimes just hanging out with her can be fun. I do love her so much.
Thursday:
I hitched a ride with Kathy to her office near Arden Way and road to and from Mercy Hospital in midtown. I actualy like this commute as I can use the bike trail and not have to be on the rural roads going north or south from Elk Grove or Clarksburg. After she got off we headed down to her massage appointment. I was a bit jelious of her getting a massage. I've only had one in my lifetime and know how relaxing it is. I'm sure she enjoyed it.
Friday:
Friday I drove my own car to kathy's work and road to Mercy again. Only short each way. I had to pick up my kids but my 16 year old is in a state of rebellion and has decided he's too grown up to spend time with me. I should understand this but the way in which he's gone about seperating by only texting me to say he will rather than talk about it directly with me has me quite upset. It did turn out to be a good evening though as I took my daughter and a friend out to dinner and movie and they both had a good time. I do hope my son comes around and descovers how much he may be missing out on by not wanting to be with me. One can only hope.
