Things good and bad

I went to San Francisco for the night on Friday with Kathy and spent all day there Saturday. It's been a while since we've been there and we have had great trips in the past to the city. This weekend was not exception and we had a wonderful time, eventhough it rained most of the time. I do think we are making great headway in our relationship. This I think is a great thing.

Today I'm taking my final exam for my second semester of school. Two more semesters, 32 weeks and one year to go and I'll be graduating with a ASN. Then I'll sit for my boards and be an RN. Hopefully, the job market will look good in a years time and I'll find a job as a new graduate right away. So, today this is a good thing of things to come.

In other news, I'm realizing my children are getting older and less dependent on me and less willing to just hang out with me. I don't know if it's because of my inablity to entertain them or what but they simply seem to not have a desire any more to just hang out. I hope it's temporary as it breaks my heart for them to feel this way. This I think is a bad thing.

It's been a few weeks since I've ridden my bicycle. I miss it and it's show on my waist line and on the scale. That's a bad thing. I'm hoping to ride this week and get back in the swing of things with that. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
